In line at a grocery store, trying to by some food and then a magazine rack screams at me "Summer Fashion Tips for Women"! Twenty ways to please your man. Faster, better, truer tans. Bikini season is coming around. Time to shed hideous pounds. And all I really want to do is smash, but I can just walk away when asked, "How are you paying for that?" "Yup." Try to feel good about yourself? Impossible when every shelf tells you that your body is never good enough. But if you lose 10lbs this week and try this wacky sex technique, maybe you'll have a chance. Drill it into your head every fucking day that your worth is based on how much you weigh. Eating disorders will be all too common. The real tips for women? Eat less, fuck more! I don't know if you can escape this crushing weight of disappointment. But I hope that you can shake this fear of never being perfect. Fuck.

It's not up for debate: I could no longer tolerate the thought of killing just for the taste. Finally saw the suffering and pain, couldn't live with it being done in my name. Now you want to talk about the shape of teeth? Oh, great! How does biology justify a life spent in cages and chains? Nowhere to run. I remember the day the idea took hold and I tried for years to let it go: what do we owe, what do we deserve? There's more to life than to dominate or serve. Now you tell me it can be humanely done. Just another life spent staring down the barrel of a fucking gun. Not in my name.

I know it can be hard to take a fucking stand when the person talking shit is your family or your friend, but I don't want you to think that things will be okay if when someone is spewing hatred you just look the other way. Don't just stand there, say something! Don't just stand there, do something! If we all got along, yes, that would be best, but surely you know that silence equals death. It's gonna be a bitter sweet I-fucking-told-you-so when your precious scene is overrun with sexists, racists, homophobes... Don't just stand there, say something! Don't just stand there, do something! Agh!

Too Punk 01:26
1, 2, 3, 4! Hey everybody, have you heard the news? This just in: got no time for you. You can find me out back, I'll be sniffing glue. Trashing my hotel room, ripped on ludes. Off to the side and all out of sorts, trying to fashion patches into a pair of shorts. I'm too punk for you. Gather around, let me read you a list of which bands from '77 were most legit. Yes, I listen to Skrewdriver -- but only their first! Not sure what you're into, but it's surely the worst. I can tell by the patches on your pants, you never really had a chance. PC kids think they know what's best. Worried about the swastika tattoo on my chest. I'm too punk for you.

You say "Punx always win!" but you've lost all my respect. Easy to feel so proud when you don't feel the effects. You shout "Kill a cop!" until you need to protect a rapist. Innocent until proven guilty. The stories of women don't mean shit. Oh, you're so subversive! Culture of violence. Macho attitudes keeping survivors silenced. Congratulations! Fuck your community. Congratulations! Fuck your scene. You win, you win, you win, you win, you win, you win! Fuck you!

How It Ends 02:04
You say you're ready, ready to bleed. Bleed for your country. A war only you see. Oh great defender of our freedoms of speech. Erodes with disagreement, race, sex, ethnicity. There is no reason, reason for us. For us to give you a platform of trust. Oh great defender of the Great White North. Fantasy of a Master Race, a history you contort. You've had your turn to speak. It's time to move along. We've let this horror haunt us for far too long. There is no need to speak. There is no need to pretend. We know just how it ends. We know just how it ends. How can such small hands hold so much hate? Good night, white pride.
